On Wednesday, September 4, at the request of Sofia Tostón (mayor of Ayoó de Vidriales) the territorial delegate of Zamora, D. J. Alberto Castro Cañibano, and the UVA team, represented by the teachers Zacarías Clerigo and José Luis Marcos, met at the headquarters of the Regional Government of Castilla y León in Zamora.

The meeting lasted almost three hours, where the teachers presented the details of the project "Operation CO2", and shared the achievements to be obtained within the 4 remaining years of implementation. They also reviewed the upcoming activities to be undertaken this fall, where tree planting under the agroforestry system can bring the new ¨Horizon 2020¨.

The territorial delegate was very responsive, offering everything that might be useful for us, within the scope of his position, inviting us to possible visits and demonstrating his willingness to receive more information throughout the years.

This visit has been considered of great institutional significance by the members of the Operation CO2 consortium and also very interesting for future collaboration.
